GPS Raffle Taildraggers Nylstroom 18-20 July

Last year at the Taildraggers Fly in event Comet Aviation kindly sponsored a Bendix King AV8R GPS ( http://www.bendixking.com/AV8OR ) as a prize for a category of our choice. The Nylstroom Flying Club decided to award it for the "Best Airmanship" displayed during the event. Not that we had any display of bad airmanship.
The award winner was Gordon Dyne who in his kindness decided to offer it back to the Nylstroom Flying Club on the condition the proceeds are used to promote aviation among st the young.
We decided to start a fund for a kid that still has to be identified who has shown exceptional interest in aviation but who is also willing contribute in some way towards the goal. We are not giving it away just to get browny points but would rather contribute towards a career for a very deserving kid. A lot of us used to wash airplanes hang around airfields just to get a ride and to grow into aviation.

R100 buys you a raffle ticket for the GPS. The draw will take place Saturday evening 19 July at the awards ceremony around the fire after the Taildraggers Fly in.
Please pay into the Nylstoom Flying Club account or buy your ticket at the fly in 18-19 July.

The income from the raffle will also be announced after the event.

I will take ticket 1 and 2 and deposit my R200 into the flying club account.
