So, who else is having Internet problems?

Specifically - not being able to load either Google, Facebook or Youtube .. or the lot? Oh, and you also get an erratic you have to update Flashplayer?

Have Telkom as ISP

Problem goes away when I use Vodacom 3G

I thought I was going nuts.....

We'll see how many people have the same issues sooner than later

contacted them and they had to completely reset my router - now all is working

Went through all that....

I found a strange IP address in the router, so decided to change the DNS settings to that of Google's public addresses ..... Primary 8.8.8.8. and Secondary 8.8.4.4

Where possible, I have changed the http:// settings of the pages that were diverting to the scam site, to https://

Seems all is working for now...

I must add that for a couple of weeks now the Vodacom 3G here in Burgersdorp is pathetic. I am using a K4510-Z modem.
It simply cuts out numerous times during a 2 or 3 hour session. Very frustrating especially if busy with serious banking transactions.

The lesson to be learnt here is simple don't pay
