Hi Tinkerbell,
Stopped at Kang a few years in our gyros and the runway was fine - replete with a caretaker to keep an eye on your aircraft. The airfield is a few km's outside Kang, but the owner of the http://www.kangultralodge.com was happy to fetch us and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. They also own the petrol garage so fuel is available.

Hi Tinkerbell,

Thanks to everyone that assisted her so far with arrangement, flight planning, contacts or even just advice or offered to or will assist her on the way, you don't know how much this means to her. Also a big thanks for all the well wishes. THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Lets just hope the weather forecast up north improves over the next few days as it looks 50 / 50 at the moment.

Veilig in Kang. Uneventful day except that the radio didn't want to work for a few moments at Pilanesberg not that I needed itin Botswana because there is absolutely no one in the air. Refueled and ready for tomorrow. I'll check a bit later what the weather forecast is. Xx
