Day Dreaming

Postby Cee Vee Ess » Sat Feb 01, 2014 9:08 pm

Thought I'll share my serious desire of assembling a Savanha S.
I do have a few questions though. Sure here are plenty of amature builders here.

1. The dough: Might sound like a silly question but has anyone had experience in having an aircraft financed or what my idea is, is to actually save up for it - this obviously keeps me drooling for much longer!!!

2. Space to assemble. Single garage size ok for a start?

3. Anyone ever build an aircraft and recon F%%%% this next time I just buy one? I think it must be quite a rewarding experience.

4. Did your wife make you choose? As this takes up allot of time correct?

5. I fly a Trike at the moment, anyone ever go from trike to LSA and ever regret it?

Thanks puff puff

I built my Savannah VG in my garage, varandah and hangar. As for regretting the transition from trike to fixed wing. Definitely not!!!!! If I had the chance, I would build again. A very rewarding experience.

Finance is not east to get for a kit. I tried, they would only finance a factory built aerie, and only certain types at that. I have to finance my explorer myself even though it is being built by Stefan at Kitplanes.
