Quicksilver / Basic 4000 Flight Needed

Postby waynepowell » Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:13 pm

Hi All,

I am looking to do get into (whats seems to be) the fun world of microlighters.

Is there anyone out there with a Basic 4000 or Quicksilver MX II who can take me for an "Intro Flight."

I am based in Pretoria but will travel anywhere in Gauteng...

Fuel and breakfast on me :-)

Hi Wayne,
The Microlights that you mention are close to "vintage" compared to whats out there ... any reason you suggested these ones ?

Hi Bearcat,

Thanks for the reply - Oh really? Vintage you say? I had no idea...well, I am looking at the above mentioned, principally because a family friend has one that stands "rotting in a hangar in Aeroden" as Dish subtly put it a while back.
