Hi all,
I came across this video detailing the ins and outs of the rotax fuel pump, typically used on the 912 engines. This video is an absolute MUST SEE http://www.eaavideo.org/video.aspx?v=1697244962001
The reason I came across this was that I want to service/update my fuel system (as according to Rotax, the pumps have a maximum of a 5 year service) according to the book. And when I came across the video above I was shocked and pleasantly surprised and well educated!
I'm definitely going to replace the fuel pup on my 912 with a new unit and renew lines to and from the carb-tank.
Use it , loose it. Hope it helps others too.
