My condolences to you on the loss of your Dad Sue. (-) Always sad when one has to say goodbye. :(

I knew Tinky Jones relatively well when he was still with us, I'm good mates with his grandson and I'm sure he would have flown with your dad in Korea.

RIP Tubby Sir. (-)

Tubby Singleton, we salute you, Sir!
Tubby Singleton Memorial 1.jpg
Yesterday was the farewell service to celebrate the life of an amazing pilot, a Korean War Hero and father to Sue and Robyn Singleton.

The service was well attended and stories were recited of Tubby's life and antics as a pilot.

A special thanks to Menno Parsons who flew the flypast with his Mustang Sally overhead those gathered together.

One of Tubby's favourite songs was 'Over the Rainbow' . . . . take a listen to the song amidst the roar of the Merlin engine as the Mustang flies overhead!

I'm not sure? I know that at one stage Youtube was blocking videos using songs but they seemed to have worked around this with the music industry.

However, this video still appears to to be 'up', so please try again!
