Raptor 582 value

I bought a Raptor 582 blue top with 204 hrs on. The plane is in excellent condition with 2 headsets and helmets. Logbooks inorder. I paid R58 000. Is this a good price? I am new in this game and am a little unsure. Comments?

Sounds a bargain. Pay an AP to check it through though, money well spent.

Great price on that one Katana... I paid R65k for one with more hours and older... I know it's older as it's serial no is 001...
Where you gonna be hangaring etc?

I'm not flying yet, but will be hangering it at Ficksburg. Gonna do training in Bloem by Sarel van Rensburg. Thanks, I feel more confident now!

Sounds great. Welcome to this fantastic sport.
Just get an AP to check it out ASAP. Preferably one that is very familiar with a Raptor.

The Raptor is a great Airie, really solid...
We have 5 or 6 at Ingwe, and the CFI and AP from Centurion flight centre - Flo Momberg is a serious expert on the Raptor... His School airie is a Raptor, and he is building up another one for the school...
What setup do you have in Ficksburg? when can we come and invade the field?

Hi Graig, I will certainly consider taking my Raptor to Centurion, not to far. Our setup here in Ficksburg is simple, but the location is beautiful, surrounded by the Maluti mountains. The airfied is privately owned by a good friend (female) of mine and we have a very active RC club going as well. You guys are more than wellcome to invade our airspace!! Very nice guest house on the airfield premesis.

Please post the web address of the guest house if there is one... also let us know if you have open hangar space if people come down to visit... I am sure there are plenty of guys who will be keen...

Guys, sorry, my wife, who is also browsing on the forum, pointed out a mistake from my side. I didn't pay R58 000, it was R38 000. Typing error, sorry. I guess that emphasizes your points.
