Man this monster give a mighty punch , mounted one on a Windlass frame today to do the run inn procedure for a Zim Client , after the basic run-inn we started pumping up the revs , have ya ever seen a strenthened Windlass engine frame warp as revs climb , scarry stuff , those rave valves when adjusted propely sure pump out :mrgreen: the torque and horses , Pity the engine has been discontinued , xxx leprechaun

Ja Alex, the 618 was discontinued at the expense of the 912UL....

They could have kept the 582 and continued with the 583 (yes 583 @ a cool 97HP - same bore but longer stroke & rave valves)

Just imagine how popular that would have been....

In the USA, I see they do a lot of private mods and development on the 670 for the lsa/experimental class... got a lot of "grunt"
