Good morning Fellow-Aviators
Kitty Hawk will be hosting the annual SAPFA fun rally for GYROCOPTERS on Saturday the 17th August 2013. BUT WAIT! We also welcome FIXED WING aircraft to compete. This will be run by SAPFA using the same format that has become popular with fixed wing pilots.

what are you flying tinkerbell?
how will classes be seperated? I cant imagine a little cheetah going up against an RV or pilon racer ---

I'm sure you are most welcome.
As I understand it , the FUN-RALLY is more about accurate flying and "outside" observations (answering/recognising landmarks), than speed and time trials. - Thats the pilon time trails, not a fun-rally.

It is supposed to be fun and when you see me land it might even be funny! (I fly a gyro)
