Call-signs.

Vb. Ek doen start-up by Kroon en groet almal as Foxtrot delta Whiskey en se call-sign Folla.

'n call sign moet by CAA geregistreer word.

Hey Folla,
No that's not quite correct boet. Everyone might know you as Folla and in all your chatting on the chat frequency maybe, but in the circuit it's by registration.
So for example we often fly as a gaggle and chat on route, when we switch over to whichever frequency is needed I might for example say Dish is going in after ???whoever, but then use the correct radio call and use your registration...
So in short no, your call sign is nothing more than your microlight "handle".., there are many okes who fly who aren't on ML or avcom and won't have a clue who your talking about or talking to. Also remember that Kroons Frequency like aero dens is not strictly there own,.. 124.8... So anyone on that frequency would be able to hear you and therefore it would be incorrect....
Rather just use your reg..
