ALL AVIATORS,
PLEASE if you plan your flying holiday in the amasing country Namibia, please stay away from TSUMEB AIRPORT,
WE've been charged R3150 for 5 x Gyro's 550 MTOW to land and refuel from our own containers, only one gyro used their fuel facilities.
NOT even control tower assistans or taxi and park assistants.  (**)

The landing fees are supposed to be standardised across all airports in Namibia. I haven't been to Tsumeb, but recently landed at both Rundu and Ondangwa where I paid either R30 or R35 for landing and navigation fees. I think the difference is between local flights and international flights. Both times I refueled using the airport facilities. That is flying a Eurocopter EC130 with MTOW of 2427kg. There must be some document you can use to prove the correct amount should be a lot less than what you paid.

Tsumeb is a problem in respect of landing fees. Rather stay clear.
