How did you fit every thing on the trike? Do you have any pictures?

Griff,
haven't you heard of Checkers shopping bags

there are hooks along the sides of the trike and they just hang from there.
My heaviest was a miserley 120kg PAX, 40Liters of fuel and me 85KG. The one thing the little Clipped Wing Challenger doesn't like is being heavy. Best climb I could get was 300fpm, at sea level, took 300m to take off. I have heard of a Clipped Wing with 582 motor, with a PAX of 145KG 38L Fuel and 85KG pilot climbing out at 400fpm. The long wing challengers dont have the same problem

Now here's something to chew on.
I weigh 130kg. Have flown often with 50 litres of fuel and pax 108kg.
Aerotrike 582 with 6 blade prop.
Must add that it is at the coast.

Bacchus, let me throw this one into the pot for you, replace your 6-blade with a 2 blade and then tell me how well the plane performs.
It will vibrate more that you expect but you will definitely get more thrust and climb out of it. The most efficient prop is the 2-blade, the rest just look nice and get smoother as you add more blades(albeit less efficient)
When are we going to meet to celebrate something
This weekend I am up with Demon and Dh and the boys Next weekend would be good. In fact maybe we have another braai at Morning Star next weekend.

BTW,
one thing we are forgetting is what is the empty weight of the plane. The lighter the plane the better the carrying capacity

Saw somebody try to get a 140kg+ into a BB, including taking out seats and anything else not essential to gwarantee the semblence of flight, - Sardines and cans come to miind...
In the early days I was guilty of breaking this rule but nowadays I sure as sh@t draw the line at 100kg = besides I realy dont fancy sitting with my chest up against the bar in the Gemini, and leaning back with al my might to make some space to pull in the ol bar!!
heaviest load
