Check your new ATF

Received my new Authority to Fly by registered mail today. Was about to file it when I noticed the expiry date states
2013-01-04. The year should have been 2014.
At the beginning of every year anyone can make a mistake by still using the previous year as reference. RAASA immediately undertook to rectify and post a new one. Thanks RAASA

Absolutely and no ways I can blame them. Hence the importance to check your ATF on receipt.
Picture the rammifications if involved in an accident with RAASA systems reflecting/confirming your ATF has expired. Or receiving a ramp check at a fly-inn and note allowed to fly back untill papers are sorted.

Hahaha,

just checked my "old discarded" Atf, being the one that was supposed to expire 30thDec 2012 and realised that it has dec2013 as the expiry date. So technically I had an Atf that was valid for two years! [btw, I have the valid new one in the A/c]
I think a little latitude is in order.
