Question for trike pilots: How often do you fly away?

One of my frustrations when flying a trike at the coast was weather....Most days it was only flyable early mornings.....
I'm just curious as to how often trike pilots around the country actually undertake cross contries?
I know that the "old crows" like Demon and Clockwork orange do many excursions, but what about the rest of the fraternity?
Where do you fly to and how often and how far?
Another question for the Gautengers and Capetonians is: where do you guys fly to?
Fly aways

We unfortunately cant any more but used to a do a monthly trip, I think the problem being with Microlight pilots and I think that this is becoming more relevant. Simple..to be able to fly (whatever) you require resources, to obtain these most people need to be in relatively comfortable careers and or own their own businesses etc.
This has added challenges...such as time. Simple answer.. we would love to do more fly aways but we aint got time to do so !!! I think that I speak for the masses.
Pity really as if we even attempted to get all of our club together at one time it would probably cost a lot of companies secretaries a lot of effort and time....
Maybe we are wrong and spend more time enjoying ourselves after all we spend a long time dead...

We do try to to an overnight or long weekend trip every 3 months -
The Berg, Inyathi, Bokamp, Hazyview, etc etc - its such fun, althought not good for the liver

Just as a matter of interest
What is the average cruising speed for a trike or at what speed do you all kind of cruise at on a cross country and
What do you do for fuel on your cross countries, have a ground crew that goes along, carry some extra...?
