Who Sent You SOLO?

Postby PieterKotze » Sun Dec 16, 2012 8:40 pm

I have noticed this fantastic tread on Avcom, thought it would be good on Microlighters also.....

I am extremely proud of the road I took via comfortably the BEST Instructor to my NPL GYRO Licence: Rainier Janse van Rensburg at Kestral Flying School, Springs is, in my view the finest Instructor (Gyro for me), Comm Pilot (Gyro, Fixed Wing, etc), Human Being, Friend and Aviator that you will ever find.

Also by far the most cost effective training in SA, believe me I checked, Rainier's costs are amazing, and although he is extremely careful and strict, when you are ready for SOLO, you are ready...NO um and aaah like you generally get that really means "..i need a few more rands out of you, you are ready but I need to bleed you a bit more.."

Kudos for Rainier!

I went solo yesterday at Light Sport Aviation Training based at Rhino Park (^^)

Thanks to Shane Smith and Jabi ZU-CIG

Took some patience and some tense moments but it was awesome.
