Who's the oldest?

Postby Duck Rogers » Thu May 18, 2006 10:32 pm

Does anyone know an ACTIVE flying microlighter older than the guy at our club. He's 73 years old and flies religiously, every Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.
I don't have permission to post his name unfortunately, but some of you know him :D
I think the trike is older than him :D

Getting old is like matured red wine it just gets better.

I only drink one type of wine and that is Bandiewine.( 3 Year KWV)

It is also not that one enjoys the flying so much but that you appreciate it all the much more.

That is a remarkable achievement i would say Duckie :!: :!: Take my hat off to him. Any idea how many years he has been involved with microlighting and the amount of hours he has :?: :?:

Erm that arrow on the spat is that for indicating the direction of travel

Yeah Cloud Warrior Morph and demon are but "Spring" chickens well since i last saw them anyway :D :D :D

And last but not least smiley yer optimism overrides the reality of the situation    32/26 :?: :?: although i do believe if they follow The Agents advice about seeing more "los balle" they may put up a good show :D :D :D

you've got that one right

It is commendable to see someone at his age still flying. This is what I want to be when I grow up.

The only question I have is why he is indicating a right turn with his hand, doesn't he have indicators on his trike

Think you have it wrong. Flying a trike is a step UP from being a Com pilot. The ultimate uber pilot flies a hang glider.
