Just got back home.
Did not make Potch, got bogged down over Rustenburg by a big Cu-nim which put shadow all over the place. Dry air moved in from the SW. Had a low safe over Marikana and lots of grovelling to slowly climb at 0.5 m/s back to 10 500 ASL and enough to make it back to Brits. If we landed out, I would probably only typed this by 03h00AM tomorrow.
Compared to the office, this was an excellent business desicion. 2 hours of beautiful, bouncing, tight core thermals. Best climb was 5 m/s up, worst glides were way over 5 m/s down. Longest glide was 35 km. Not the best, but better than pushing a mouse around on a desk.

Thanks Louw for an awesome weekday (and for giving me the stick on the way back), Rainer for the serious aerotow with BIG density altitude at Brits at 12h30 and Bennie for giving me your seat (because you had to push a mouse around today).

shame you didn't make it kloot piloot - that Blanik was my ride to 2500ft agl at Potch tomorrow...

It took you 2500ft to realize the thing you were in had no engine ?
If you have that video clip of your jump at Brits, don't you want to post it here ? It looked awesome
