A new Record ?

Postby Ian » Tue May 16, 2006 7:03 pm

13 Microlights in total, 10 TBirds and 3 trikes made breakfast on Friday. Pump attendants claim they have never seen so many land at one time. Is this truly a record ? Anyone have comment ?

Excuse me. Are boating beach bumbs allowed to contribute to this forum? (and abuse the pilots) I thought it was for people who flew microlights.

Memories, oooo such kak memories!!!

During our January Dragons Peak vacations with the trikes, I suffered a engine out just after take-off, over the Ultra City sign at the Estcourt Ultra City. I manage to land in the veld on the other side of the N3.

I did and it failed...!! Last Saturday on my way to EAA Wonderboom I suffered another engine-out     , with the new motor!!

Once again, I did another  , forced landing, but put her down safely!!

On inspection I found that they did not nipppp the one mainjet, it was just turned in by hand, and on the verge of falling out started flooding the carb, and warra.... "baby is on her way down agaaaain   "

Nipped it, up and away, and had a awesome day at Wonderboom!!
