Good morning guys,

Misasa has been sent a few documents with details surrounding some possible changes and enlargement of the Lanseria CTR.
Please note that the changes proposed are not finalized yet, and are only in the discussion phase, and a working group will no doubt be set up before anything is changed or brought into effect.

AeCSA will be involved when the discussion get to that stage but I'd like some comments from our pilots so that we can put them forward to the AeCSA when the time comes for public comment.

Unfortunately, the files are too big for me to upload so I have sent them to one of our mods so that he can upload them here.

As long as it does not move more than 2miles so that we fall in their CTR and they require us to get transponders like the poor okes at Ballito

Here are some Docs Bundy asked me to Put up for you.

How will it affect us at Aero57, Ingwe Airfield as well as Eagle Creek. We are 13km away from lanseria and almost in line with 06 runway?

The boundary seems to be cutting through Diepsloot, so all 3 are outside of it. Eagle Creek missing it by only about a mile or 2.

Any news on this?

Was also wondering about that. There has been a bit written in the SA Flyer magazine recently regarding their expansion plans.

You know if Ingwe & Crosswinds still falls outside their proposed CTR?
