Yes, I have a mate with some land - he is willing to open it up for me, sadly me only but still it is a dream come true!

My dream is to have my own hangar and grass strip in the back yard.

No airfield politics, no hangar rash, no blik aeries in the circuit, no long drives to the strip just to find that the wind is blowing, no one to see your slightly less than perfect landings.....

But then no one to sit around with and talk crap to when the weather is bad or to help out with a technical problem.....

Me - I am a bit of a loner so it would be a no brainer but if you are a more sociable sort of flyer then it might not be right for you.

Hi DH, what type of facilities will the strip have
and how far away from your current hanger / house is it?
