Could not agree more. Digital signatures and certification with dedicated encripted certificates are commonly used over the internet to ensure authentisity. Another example of such use is SARS e-filling. I am sure the introduction of this system has boosted tax collection and, the same could be said for RAASA if they implemeted a simpler, more efficient system. Maybe this would even convince some in the remote areas to become/stay legal?

I believe such a system as I mentioned earlier has a positive impact on getting people legal.

Anyone with internet access would be able to type in an aircraft registration and see the ATF. And why not? There's nothing secretive about it.

Yip, like on your cell phone when within coverage. Well, most cell phones...Invasion of privacy? I don't think so, aircraft registration to owner and visa versa is already available if you register on the web site.

We are in the process of starting a watsap group for microland. The idea is if someone is doing a cross country and wants company broadcast it and see who is available . Also to try get a better idea if weather is ok to fly or not we will have Mervin on and the rest of the instructors. Also open to any other ideas. Mervyn asked me to post that he found an AN (Aircraft Spec) bolt and part of a compass on the runway at Microland. Please, all pilots at Microland, make sure during your next pre-flight inspection that these parts are not from your aircraft.
