Just watch out for some RC aircraft close to the runway at times. The guys were flying there this Saturday and a visitor remarked that it might be a problem. I understand they do have radio`s but even then so...

RC guys flying from the taxiways was a very temporary arrangement and has now been stopped (I am not totally sure when this was finalised)
There are only 1 or 2 active RC guys there so the sky will never be “littered” with models. Their new runway is being built to the south west of the field and they will opperate to the south of it, so they will not be in the way of anyone at all as circuits for “real” aircraft are obviously done to the north and joining overhead is not advised due to the aerobatic box.
This new runway of theirs I believe is close to complete (a week or so at most) and everything is being done in line with (and with the blessing of) CAA and SAMA.
Now we just need some gliders, hang gliders and PPG guys to get involved and we will have almost every form of flying machine there. One big happy flying family.
