Howdy,
My exhaust was looking a bit dull, so I decided to do some maintenance..bought a can of Rust-Oleum High Heat, a wire brush and some masking tape.
Check out this link for info on Rust-Oleum:
http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalo ... /high-heat
Closed up everything with a news paper that could get spray on beside the parts I wanted to spray...
Evenly sprayed the Rust-Oleum on the exhaust and my radiator...check it out
In total it cost me R150 and some elbow grease

Looks good. If I remember, I will contact you in about six months to see how it stands up. I really like the look of it.
regards,
Vernon

Some pics of our flip to Mongena
Jaco and I decided to join the Kroon gang for a flip to Mongena Lodge.
http://www.mongena.co.za/
Jaco flew from Klip and met me overhead Crosswinds where we then flew to Kroon.Landed at Kroon so Jaco could have a leg stretch as it was a distance from Klip in the South to Kroon.
We then took off and routed to the Tswaing Crater
http://www.hartrao.ac.za/other/tswaing/tswaing.html
After having a good look of the Crater as it was Jaco's first time seeing it, we routed to Mongena Lodge
Arriving at the lodge we had to buzz the runway to scare the animals off the runway...what an experience seeing a wild hog on final running like mad and ducking in the bush
After Mongena we routed back to Kroon and had a coke with the Kroon gang before heading home
Here are a couple of pics from the trip...

Hi Raf looks excellent I painted mine with normal polycell rust converter which only lasted a couple of flights then it turned to that horrible brown rusted coulor again. Where can I get hold of this stuff

Morning Vern
The paint job is still holding, so far no peeling or anything, still looks the same
Will take a pic this weekend and post it, really impressed for R150
