I took my trike on the trailer down to potties last week for his anual service and renewal of my license. I decided to fly it back to louis trichard this morning, and what a great experience it was! the total flight was 2hours and 30 min cruising at 48 miles an hour.I got in the air at 6:15 this morning and landed at ltt 8:45. The first hour and a half in the air was great with no wind and offered fantastic flying at 1000 ft agl.The wind then picked up to 10 knots and I had my hands full the rest of the way. I am glad that i practised flying in windy conditions because the last hour I had to realy fight the plain while also keep track of direction.I have to admit that when the wind throws you around like that it gets a bit scary up there, I gues the only thing you can do is to stay calm, hold on to the bar and fight the wind. when it came to the landing I decided to come in low with a lot of power on till the wheels touched the ground. I have to thank all the guys posting on the forum, your advise definately helps me to enjoy flying and to stay safe in the air. With 75hours in a trike I feel much more experienced and confident after this flight.cheers

Hi Andrew,
Ons bosveld trikers begin nou groei in getalle.!!
Wind bly my grootste concern wanneer ek vlieg..
Dankie vir jou posting en ek stem saam n ou tel waardevolle inligting op, op die forum.
Groete.
