Worth watching!! Only a few seconds but fantastic piece of film
http://www.dogwork.com/owfo8
Owl coming in right at the camera. Bait was attached just above lens of the camera.
The Owl was photographed in slow motion (at 1,000 frames per second).
The last two or three seconds are amazing, watching the feathers ruffle and the wings swell.
It is interesting to watch the corrections in the flight path as the bird comes in. Amazing!!!

Beautiful! The first part of the video- (up until the part where he pushes his claws forward and deploys his wings as airbrakes) should be included in the MPL syllabus - how to land a trike! Full speed approach to the ground, round out, and then float those wings! And look at the head and eyes - forward looking - eyes on the horizon all the time!
This Owl is NOT low and slow, with nowhere to go!! PLENTY of speed, on the deck!

It would be interesting to know how long that owl footage takes in real time, the poor mouse probably never knows what hit him
