At last, an intercom system that I can hear what is going on

Well, the testing is now over and it is time now to enjoy the fruits of our labours. I was on the testing and development team for the new AIR MAGIC intercom system, so for those that are wondering which way to jump, try them out. I traveled to and from the Haven, (5hrs in the air each way) listening to music, and receiving the occasional phone call while flying a Raptor with a Rotax 582 blasting behind me. The systems are quiet, with almost no engine noise coming through.
I have seen a number of articles written where people are discussing issues around intercoms, (which are best, which to buy etc.), on this Web-site. Here is an opportunity to try something new. I will have a spare set available for “borrowing†in about a week’s time.
NOTE: They now come either as standard headsets or built into a helmet.
To find out more contact:Paul @
Rabbit1@telkomsa.net, or come back to me and I will pass the message on.
Cheers

I have a set on hand as well. I must say it is quit scarry because it is so quiet. You can actually have a conversation with your pax without screaming and the volume is still low.I fly out of Klip in JHB and if you are interested in a demo you are most welcome to contact me.

There is actually very little to see. The two headsets are standard headsets and the “coms box†is about double the size of a matchbox. The helmets are very comfirtable. I will see if we can take a photo and get it on the furum. The best is of course to try them on. Liase with Paul directly and we will see if we have one in your area, (
rabbit1@telkomsa.net)
Nonsense aside, the systems are very good and trouble free.

updating the "Buy me for Morph" shopping list.
When you talk about the HP ipaq, would that include the 6515 that has the built-in phone? unless there is another one with a phone in it.
The 6515 has GSM and GPS built in. One device for Phone, Easycockpit, Music the works.......hmmmm, filling in gift card, "to Morph, with love from Morph"
Which HP Ipaq

It works on the HP Ipaq 6300, with the built in phone. It does not work on the unit that has the blue tooth connection to the earpiece as there is no blue tooth on the intercom system
