Microlighters Caps

Postby DarkHelmet » Fri Jan 20, 2012 10:44 am

Hi Folks

Years ago we had some caps made with the Logo on the front and our nicknames on the back.

Mine lost the battle against my Warp Drive at the time ;) Would be nice to have one again for meet ups like the 4th

Anyone care to organise something?

We only do fabric screen prints. I doubt we can do caps :(
Don't we have someone who does embroidery on the forum?

I think I must have a chat to Nemo about this.... :?:

Get them done at cost and then add some bucks for microlighters.co.za account?

I still have my old cap. Has the Microlighters logo in front with my name at the back. Ryan (Thunderboy) made them for us. Mine is looking a bit tired now. Would also like a new one.

Maybe microlighters.co.za is due for a new and updated / modern logo?

A change is as good as a holiday! Please take this in jest (no offense intended, but silly ideas sometimes lead to great ones)

The original logo has 3-asses, weight-slips and gynae-copters represented...

All these types are "Micro Light", being in the sub 450kg MTOW, we now have a Love Strings Attached (LSA) audience too, sub 650kg (Correct me if I am wrong)

Colour, simplicity and reproducibility.

It also needs to be an improvement on the current logo.

Our problem is that we do not have the current logo as a hi-res reproducible image for larger format printing.

Comments thoughts, suggestions?

I'd love to have a ML cap (^^) ....you can put me on the list for sure.

Cant help with a design logo though....my IT skills are terrible

It seems a bit difficult to fit all "four" aerie types on the front of a cap? Why dont we just have a nice set of Wings on the front with the Website name? I like the idea of having your name on the side or back as well....at least you'll be able to see who scaled your cap if it goes missing
