Hey all,

As you prob know by now, Microland is our new home. Thought I'd get some suggestions of nice routes or destinations close by?
Coffee/Brekkie spots beyond the obvious ones?

Let me know...I will explore them by air! Whoo Hoo (^^)

Panorama Airfield.

We are situated in the South of JHB,3 runways (main runway 01/19 is 1000m x 30m, and two cross runways - 30/12 600m x 15m, and 05/23 700m x 15m)
Helga makes a great breakfast!

Both good, Aeroden is actually a really good one as it gets me into controlled airspace. (Pinedene Route) (^^)

Looking for some off the beaten track spots as well, anything goes...keep em coming!

You must come to Kroon, and from there we can go to the Tswaing crater, swamps and eat a breakie at Kokoriba. We can always visit TC as well!

Kokoriba is always nice with a flip over Roodekopies dam. Fly to us here at Ingwe/Aero57 and then we join you (^^)

Tswaing Krater, Harties dam, Roodekoppies dam, Vaalkop dam, Ntokozo Lodge, Loskop dam, Kokeriba, Rust de Winter

So many places really

Give Pinidene a go, lot's of fun the first time - And west is best - Much quicker than you think, Microland to Harties in Aquilla probably 50 minutes via Pinidene vhpy

Ja ja ja.... 8)

I must admit, I have seen precious little of the Harties area. Pinedene being the only direct way to get there but Im a little nervous of all the built up areas? Last flew the route (well half of it) on the way to FASK last year...not much room for error? Will go check it out on Google Earth....thanks guys. (^^)

Other than dodgy drinking water....whats out Delmas way? Must be a few PVT strips around there?

Not too bad actually - Make sure you are flying the right Pinidene route (pretty much following the power lines) - I have route on GPS - Not that built-up at all and you are through it before you know.
