Rather use a joystick for now...
lol doing both now, going for lessons tomorrow and saturday morning with marius (if the (-) permit it)

also installed FSX + the south african add-ons with the help of D2O (many thanks!!! (^^) ) and it's awesome! i just inverted the X and Y axis now my mouse acts exactly like the "bar" on a trike

cheers

Of course nothing beats real flying, but this helps on those bad weather days

So I decided to do the bar control thingy. Actually didn't take too long, and feels a bit more realistic. Worth the effort!

I used my speaker stands with a thick piece of PVC tube going across.
I used dowels for the bar.
Having throttle issues though, as the keyboard throttle is not too good, and the throttle I normally used is on the joystick!

The pedals are expensive, so that'll have to wait.

I might have to put bungee cord on the sides as well, as the left / right controls are a bit iffy.

If memory serves me correctly, i once saw a very nice trike simulator at Comet aviation. Why not phone them and get some info as to where they bought it ?

Jean.
