iPhone/iPad Logbook Development

I have tried a couple of different logbook apps but there are none that tick all the boxes. I'm so frustrated that I'm thinking if developing my own app. Very basic but very useful. Anyone interested?
Any apps that anyone can recommend?
Ps. Same goes for my vehicle logbook.

Hi THI
I would be very interested in a app like that also went thru the hole list of iphone app's and like you could not find any thing that ticked all the boxes. A weather link on the app will also be nice

Hi Judge,
What would you like to see? We should maybe start in different versions?
I was thinking to make the layout +- the same as the typical pilot logbook:
Date - From - To - Hours etc.
Maybe a summary page?
All can then be exported and email.
Your thoughts?

I use the attached LSA Logbook format. A monthly summary of the following would be nice:
Hours per pilot (will only work if all pilots enter info on same iPad

)
Average fuel comsumption per hour

With all these ideas I would Think you would log on to a cloud based log book system from any ipad or iphone I have heard there are a couple of free cloud base servers that could be used.
What also could be very useful is a plot of the route on Google maps and maybe met data.
Well THI I’m not an apple expert but I could try

@Technocrat - This is purely for the pilot and not the aircraft. Maybe this would be the next step, do develope one for an aircraft?
@Jabbanaught - I have downloaded a bunch and deleted them as I went thru them. The last apps on my iPhone are MyFlightbook, Logbook Pro, PilotLog, FlightBOX, AvConnectLT. The problem with some of these appsmis that you need internet access to start logging a flight. Some of these apps don't even have FASX in their DB and you can't insert a unknown airport
@Judge - No need to be an Apple expert

Just to bounce a few ideas and give a developer something to work with.
I just need something simple. Date of flight, from where, to where and time flown. Easy a pie...?

What about the Androids?
Is a web based app not still a better option as opposed to be platform specific?

The problem I have with web based is that you need access to the net to "work", no? In some areas the cellphone signal is not strong enough
IIRC, the programmers do the development and then compile to what platform, Apple or Android. So I don't' think it will be a problem??

As far as I know Aviation Direct is launching an I-pad app towards the end of November. They also did the popular Easy-Plan which include a Pilots logbook that is CAA approved.

Hi All,
Just some feedback. I have spoken to a developer that might be interested. He as done two apps which I have used for some time now, KiloFuel & PowerTrack.
The thought is to start with the following:
Date
Pilot
Aircraft
Aircraft Type
From
To
Hobbs Begin
Hobbs Stop
Flight Duration
Fuel
Notes
What about GPS location service? Would that be necessary?
Any other inputs / comments?

Should sync through iCloud so you can enter either via iPhone/iPad, as well as the obvious advantage of backing up to 'the cloud'

I have tested a lot of apps without success. I can't convince myself paying $40 for an app that might not work

Ok, maybe talk to the EasyPlan/cockpit guys, they are busy converting the EasyCockpit to an Apple app.
