Why is service so crap - non-aviation topic

Is it just me or not, but I am finding that the service you get generally just seems to be getting worse and worse. And nobody seems to give a shait

My son is 22 and I just helped him buy his second car. You can imagine how excited he was to get his hands on it. It was a purchase from an private seller which is normally a bit more paperwork to finance - but 15 days

Actual finance approval in 2 days, all the monumental amount of paperwork sent to them and from the time they had everything they wanted, with the pre-approval in place it took Standard Bank another 8 days to process the deal

Try getting your driver's licence replaced. It puts all your moan and bitching in a new perspective.

I took the starter for the Thunderbird BMW in for repairs. Went there on Thursday to pick it up. Bill is R495.00
This morning, I drove to the Airfield very excited because we are going to start my baby. Had it fitted and disapointment... It still not working. Took it of again and tested it again.

Will take it back on Monday and tell them in some French what I think

Thought this was a thread about bad service.... not cop bashing??? - for example every kitchen "overhaul / revamp" person MUST be driving a ferrari and business must be pumping ?? i have phoned four, 1 has shown up for our appointment, guess a revamp isnt lucrative enough for them....??/ Service levels in general suck big time,,, seems you have to beg suppliers to even quote ??

I know exactly what you guys are saying.
I bend over backwards to give a client equipment of network cables etc.
I request same client for a quote on printing vinyl stickers - Nothing.

There are other field where service is also going for a major ball - Paid the supplier and 8 weeks later still fighting to get equipment out of them.

So Perhaps lets turn this into a positive thread then,.,, I need a kitchen revamp - anyone do this kind if thing?? ITS NOT an entire rebuild as most of the stuff is good, just needs a facelift... so anyone keen to help.??>?

When last were you greeted with a smile at a restaurant and thanked for your patronage?

With my 3 serious cases being a carjack, a mugging with knives and a robery, the cops did didly squat - absolutely nothing! This crap cop service is why crime is largely out of control.

Hi John,

Just curious as to why you lump ICASA in with Helkom and Eishkom. Without wishing to downplay the problems with ICASA, (who knows them better than me?) I would have thought they are not quite in the same league as the other 2 yet.
