All Pilots

I have managed to organise a colleague (Phd in Human Factors) to do a presentation whilst he is in SA covering Single pilot CRM, cultures, threat and errors (errors are one of his specialities) and distractions. He presents at international and regional safety events and I believe SA aircrews will find him incredibly interesting. Planned to take place between 4 to 9 November 2011.

Who would be interested in attending? I'm still looking for a venue, we have a possibility near Lanseria but it's not finalised.

Colleagues

Are pilots still actively flying LSA, gyro's and microlights - I'm surprised there is no response to the above.

Please take note that you don't have to be flying a metal or carbon aircraft to exercise threat and error management, this I believe will be of value to all pilots.

Steveh,

Being planned for FALA excludes us in the Western Cape or I am sure we would have 20 keen participants from this neck of the woods.

How about arranging a regional presentation?

Hello Len

The CPT presentation is being organised for April next year, that's when he's in the mother city.

Cheers
Steve

Just a quick update on the presentation.

The response has been very good, thank you to those who have PM'd me or sent an acknowledgement via the forum.

We're in the process of organising a venue, we should have an idea were this can take place very soon. Targeting the 8 Nov at 1930, pending venue availability.

Thanks for the support.
