Aus vs SA

Postby Shallowpig » Sun Oct 09, 2011 6:51 am

Waiting for the game to start.
Just thinking what the chances are for US to exit the WC here , like England did yesterday.
Everyone mentions the matchup between Brussow and Pocock, and the need for the forwards to dominate, but in the end if the team as a whole don't play together we're in trouble.
At this level you just need 1 mistake that leads to a try & then it's difficult to make that 5(7) points up again.

Obviously I'm nervous waiting in front of my TV.

Will keep the score up dated.

1/2 time break.
SA doing most of he play.
Creating the oportunities, leading in possesion and territory, yet behind on score.
Aus certainly riding the luck and making use of ALL of their opportunities.

Will be a GOOD final half comming up.

The defence of Aus is incredible.
They stand up to whatever SA is bring to them and is frustrating the SA attack.

Aus defence won the day.
SA on the way home

As in all previous WC's it's defence that won the game.

Congrats to the Wallabies.

Final score 11 - 9
