I doubt the wind stops bud. I have deleted belfast from my GPS. Landed in a group there twice. Fist time had to get a Gyro towed back to Jhb after the blade struck the ground from bumpy runway.

Second time we landed (about 8 of us) waiting for the mist to clear to proceed to Numbi. Had to tie the trikes down due to wind and when we left two trikes blew over on the runway.

But if you live there you have to fly mate. Best of luck with a hanger and dont take chances in that place

I grew up there... ## ##
In Kerk Straat........brown gravel road, used to be iced over on winters mornings. Used to run up to the school, without shoes and jump into every cow pattie I could find to get some heat back into my toes..
Get used to the cold, it doesn't get better..

Stopped of at the Berg en Dal boer war monument outside of Belfast on route from White River yesterday.

74 SAP boere held off an English onslought of 1 500 troups for 7 days whilst being bombarded with one of the most intense cannon fire since before the 1t world war.

The British memorial caption reads something like "Never before has a victory meant so little and a loss so gallant"

Beautifull country in summer when the wind does'nt blow.
