Its quite a cool show! Eventhough the Yanks like to make everything VERRRY dramatic, the scenery is awesome and yes some very talented pilots out there flying in scary conditions  Definately not for a pissie like me!

I liked how they had the one guy tested last night to see if he can go SOLO , while carrying passengers , nothing is for free !!!

The oke who went solo had 1500 hours on type, the "solo" bit was about him being capable of flying in those conditions, flipping scary some of the stuff they do, on every Monday night (new episode) and then in true discovery fashion repeated 9 times during the week... Still think that little crazy daughters cute ! Thick as a brick but cute !

Not a criticism my friend, just imagine having 1500 hours and STILL being checked out by instructor to let yu go solo... Someone else said they wouldnt mind being a pilot there, jeepers boetie, im not so sure, thats HEAVY graft !!! great experience but man, (the oke said he hit his head on the roof of the cockpit??) yikes!!

Yip these guys can fly!! I wouldnt want to live in such a cold place, but being a bush pilot must be a lekke living!! Not quite as monotonous as the BEEEEG bliks ;)

You guys check that one guy put the C180 down in the water and then 100m sandbank?? Jeez, kanding is one thing, but getting airborne again, with 2 extra guys and a boat on board in 100m and having to clear a 20m row of trees!? Hell, I'll only just make that in the trike!! ;)

Impressive stuff. Another series starting next monday night on History Channel is "Most Extreme Airports", every monday night at 21:25 :)
