Buzzcom intercom/wiring

Postby Alkemac » Thu May 12, 2011 12:39 pm

Some components on my panel blew, but I have since had them repaired.

However, I have been trying to get hold of Larry, and no reply - is there anyone else I can speak to wrt checking the wiring is correct ?

The reason why is that some of the wires on connections have broken off and I need to put it all back together. (**)

1) See pic 3. The wire at 9 o’clock, terminates like the wire in pic 2. From what I remember, this needs to connect to the plug in pic 1. Please confirm that the thick white wire in pic 2 must connect where the short piece of thick white is at 9 o’clock in pic1 and the unshielded earth in pic 2 must connect to where the thin unshielded wire is soldered on in pic 1
2) See pic 5. The unshielded wire has broken off from the board, where you can see a small piece of copper coloring – can I resolder wire here from inside the black cable ?
3) See pic 3. The wire at 6 o’clock – is this the one that must be re connected to the bridging block at the bottom of the pod on the trike ?
