Airforce Aircraft over Pretoria

The airforce are going to a low level flypast over the union buildings on Wednesday 27 April. They did a practice run yesterday (Monday) and are going to do another practice run (or two) today.
They use part of the Wonderboom airspace from Waterkloof, flying east to west, (Edited: North to South), low level. (Below 6000') This will have impact on Wonderboom traffic, including IFR departures and arrivals. VFR traffic might be routed along non standard routes. All traffic can expect possible holds during the flypasts.
Inbound traffic to Wonderboom from the east, south and west must be extremely careful. Rather phone the tower(s) before you go to find out what time they expect to fly with the Gripons, Hawks, BBJ, choppers, C208s and other aircraft so as not to give them a fright
Wonderboom 012 543 1402, Waterkloof 012 672 3251
And those pilots who regularly sneak along the Magaliesberg thinking that there is a gap between Waterkloof and Wonderboom CTRs without talking to anybody, THERE IS NO GAP! PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT!
Talk to Wonderboom, request to route along the ridge on the south side, tell Waterkloof that you are there, and all is safe.
