I think this consumer act will be as effective as the Smoking in public and plastic carry bags joke.

The more they enforce ideology, the more business will load the price to cover admin and insurance.

Expect to see, in small print on your quote/ invoice, some obscure insurance.......R 10%.

How to win friends and influence people. By not responding I think his business integrity has taken a huge knock.

I know what my views are and Grumpy is right that this will just drag on. For me the subject is closed unless Ni oops Bob responds.

The gent concerned has not felt the need to respond. I form my own conclusions from that. He can choose to reopen the discussion by means of responding but by now it seems unlikely.
