We will be flying through that area during 22 April to 2 May 2011 and still need to arrange for fuel, accommodation etc at some places. Any suggestions for a nearby alternative will also be appreciated.

Nothing at Wollies or Reivilo in terms of hangars but plenty BnB's. Can help in Vryburg or put you in contact with guys that can help.

Kuruman has a moerse strong club as does Upington.
try get hold of the guys at upington flying club. newton walker from the midas there or andre van niekerk i think from upington ford. they the main okes there.

Any airfields between Sishen and Upington anyone knows of?

Some feedback:

Lindberg Lodge is a no-go. After many calls and e-mails they let us know that their runway is unusable

David Lubbe's place (Eagleflight) is a GO Fly-Inn with free accommodation and food

Will have a look at Alkmar Lodge on our way back. VERY nice people

No luck at Kuruman or Sishen with any of the people we were referred to. Bloody long weekend !!

Eben Mocke at Uppington is also a GO

Oh wait... Dan Leach of Piper ZS-ABC fame is getting married that weekend down in Hartenbos. So then it will be Kuruman by the sea
