There is a private one fairly near to Pennington but the oke gets very grumpy if you land there. Also don't land at the old Scottburgh airfield as the owner there is very very touchy and used to come out with a shotgun. Don't know of any other strips close to there. The next one I know is Vernon at Munster.

For the private strip near Pennington, email Noel powerfly [at] lightflight.co.za for the contact details of the owner / manager.AndyG wrote:There is a private one fairly near to Pennington but the oke gets very grumpy if you land there. Offer to comply with their rules like no pre-dawn start-ups, limited flights per day, don't overfly the neighbour etc.
