See the next mag - if you are a member you should get it in the post this week - if not a member of MISASA see the mag at
www.misasa.co.za
MISASA IS A SUB-SECTION OF THE AERO CLUB. YOU HAVE TO BELONG TO BOTH AND YOU PAY THEM MEMBERSHIP FEES.
RAASA IS A SERVICE AGENCY - YOU PAY THEM LICENCING FEES ETC YOU DO NOT BELONG TO THEM SO NO MEMBERSHIP FEES.
THE CAA IS A REGULATORY BODY WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT - THEY FULLFILL THE SAME ROLE AS RAASA BUT MANAGE MATTERS THAT RAASA HAVE NOT BEEN DELEGATED TO DO ON BEHALF OF THE CAA.

Some of the information on the link quoted above is totally irrelevant and may lead to confusion.
AlanMack has posted the short and sweet explanation of who is what and what you have to do! To answer more specific questions, I urge Errol and others to direct questions to us (AlanMack & John Boucher) and we'll gladly assist. Obviously on the forum it is always to the benefit of others that are either newbies, uniformed or just to shy to ask ...
