visiting cape town

Postby kippyuk » Sat Jan 15, 2011 12:29 pm

Hi all,
I will be visiting the cape town area in feb for 3 weeks from the UK. I am about to complete my NPPL (m) in an Ikarus C42 at sport fly scotland, http://www.strathavenairfield.co.uk/ with only my GST and X Country flights to go but hampered by the weather ( as usual). I have been in contact with Louis v Wyk at aeroposport and organised a flight when i am there, I am now wondering if (a) if i dont complete my training in the uk, can this be done whilst in cape town and will it be validated by the CAA? (b) if not would my flight count toward my total training hours in the UK? Thanks for your help and advice in advance.... Safe landings...... Blake
