Hi Brett

Maybe I will look you up for that low flying trike vhpy
Spoke to Mike and Peter, think they also hangar there now. Went diving at Umkomaas and met the two of them there. Small world with microlighters popping up everywhere vhpy

We should get together for a beer or so when I am down there in December

See you soon (^^)

Hi folk.

Wow, thankyou to each and every one of you for your kind words of support.

Morph, you take the flack for those co-ords eh:) Last time someone sent me co-ords for a venue that we were flying away to, turned out the co-ords were for the submitters back yard in Musgrave, Durban:):)

Anyway, I'm sure you got it right:)

I will post, under a new topic, the airfield rules. As stated in the opeining message on this topic, all pilots flying in for the first time MUST familiarise themselves with the airfield rules. The reason for this is the close proximity to King Shaka, and the fact that NO TRANSPONDERS are required at Groutville. So, adherhance to the airfield rules, which are most reasonable, is required.

Thanks again guys.

Look forward to actively flying trikes again, and helping out all my old students and friends and visitors to La Mercy with 'this and that'....... Been a long drought:)

Regards.

One word, "coffee" and you must erect a grass roof shed that I can buzz...Christmas days haven't been the same..lets be honest I don't think any of us have ever had coffee like La Mercy coffee. Dave, as mentioned before no flying over filling station ? Great stuff.

That's the one. The Ultracity is at the end of the runway at the top.

New North Coast LSA and Microlight airfield

Postby John Young » Sat Oct 23, 2010 8:07 am

Hi,

Took a smoke break to get out of the office and drove there.

Dave was doing a skills test (I think).

The potential is all there - just going to take a "Lotta" hard work.

The rules are not difficult for visitors. Dave will post them.
