Is it illegal for pax to pay for the hire of the aircraft I have PPL friends who fly for free but the pax pay for the hire of the plane, if I am correct it is not against the law. They are not paying the pilot to fly the plane they are only paying for the hire of the plane.

I'll only tell you this once. This forum not one to try and catch people out or prove them wrong. We are here to learn and to share in a sport we love. I take your approach to this issue as being immediately inciteful and negative. If that is what you want out of it, then I suggest you move on.

Anything further in this vein, I will do as I have previously done on two occations to the same individual, who you know, and turf your membership into outta space.
