Breakfast at Microland 16 Oct OR 30 Oct - ??

Hi there,

I want to do another breakfast at Microland again. The last one I did turned out wonderfully - except that there were only maybe 20 people. I'd like to know which date would suit you guys out of 16 Oct or 30 Oct. I will charge R45 per breakfast and it will include a healthy breaky with a bottomless coffee....

Please give me some feedback and we can set a date and go for it. May I invite some bikers? It'll help bring the numbers up as well - what say you all?

Hi Everyone;

OK - then I'll plan it for the 30th October, everyone will have been paid by then as well, so there'll be no excuses. I wouldn't mind having a rough idea on numbers as it will help for catering purposes as I'm sure you'll understand.

Hi Linda

Great idea but If I may make a suggestion I would like to bring 2 things under your attention. Firstly there is the Octoberfest fly-in at Panorama airfield on the same date wich promise to be huge so most guys I know will be attending and secondly being in the entertaining/tourism business I would suggest rather to have it on 30 oct due to month end. Most people go away at the end of the month and by the middel of the month, pay seems to have vanished in the mists of antiquity.

Ok - well what's the consensus then? Shall I do this breakfast on the 30th October or are there going to be too many people away? *Sigh* - decisions, decisions.... OK - I'll do it... but I'll cater for 30 and hopefully that'll be enough...

Does Albert still work at Microland? and what happened to Windlass and Rotax the airport dogs? did they finally pass away? its been 10 years since I was last there.

I'm not sure who Albert is, but I've been flying from there for the past 4 years and there is the same dude still working there - "embarrassing" that I don't know his name - anyway - as for Windlass and Rotax the airport dogs - Yes they did finally pass away - shame....
