There is a Vmax (the VW powered version) just completed in Cape Town, I think it is based at Morningstar.
The reg is ZU-FJG, and from a photo I saw it looks like the builder put in a 503 or a 582, which would bring it back to being a Minimax.

As far as I know there are two South Africans that are co-owners of the company in the USA that produce these kits.

I found a set of Plans for a Mini Max just after i had already started with my VP-1.
Would rather have built the MiniMax

Hi attaltitude,
I'm building a Mini-Max Eros. Bought some kit parts and plans
3 years ago and did not work on it until a month ago when it
bit me again. Just left the garage after a good sanding session.
I don't have much to show yet apart from the stack of ribs completed
but if you need information let me know.
