THABAZIMBI AIRSTRIP UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Please note that the upgrading of the Thabazimbi Airstrip commenced today. Construction will continue for approximately 10 weeks. It is not advisable to plan a trip to Thabazimbi during this time. If you need any information please contact Wynand at oh eight too 783 wun nine tree nine
The end product will be a 1500m x 15m tarred runway.

Very nice strip to fly to.
Will 'microlights' still be welcome once the runway has been completed?? Hope so

fully agree that Thabazimbi has got a very nice strip, and I'm privileged to operate from it.
Microlights will always be most welcome and in fact we're already looking to host a "post-upgrade" fly-in. Will advice on date, closer to the end of the construction period.
