Could any pilot flying in the Harties area please try to get me aerial shots / photographs of the Oberon resort ? I cannot say much now, but it pertains to a possible investigation wrt land-use. I need some shots before 10 June. Would have wanted to do it myself this weekend. Unfortunately I am tied up as RAASA's safety officer at the Plane/Bike Day Jol at Aviators Paradise.
Basie / Dish / George / Kroon pilots and any others ?
You can PM me or send photos to my e-mail at ajgroup @ mweb.co.za
I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you so much in advance.
I will obviously reveal more info as soon as I am allowed.
Thanks
Roel

Thanks Demon

.
I am looking more spesifically at the huge amount of earthworks and what the f@ck is happening there.
No plans, no I&AP's, no public participation, no council approvals.
Anything will help.
Dankie Demon !

Would also like to replace my Nikon with a Canon to do some shooting around our smallholdings.

Does this mean I have to move my shack? I paid some Nigerian good money to be able to live there?

Thanks for the offers Gents ! Appreciate it. RV4ker, any shots will do.
I've also heard the Nigerian rumour. Another one I heard is because it is government property they plan to set up a soccer city for Nigerians. Wonder how many remain behind after the event. But I don't quite think they are true.
My interest however is more to see what development the Government are busy with. There does not seem to be an EMP on the cards, no public participation, no plans at Madibeng council, ... NOTHING, NADA !
And certain sons of our current and previous presidents allegedly involved.

As far as I know (or knew, to be precise) Oberon is/was leased to the Southern Transvaal Angling Association and used as an angling competition venue. Not sure if that's still the case.

Last Fridays M&G carried a 2nd article on it.
Developer claims "minor alterations to existing structures". If you have pictures of the major construction happening there, please send them to me to forward to M&G.
I hate open corruption happening under my nose
