EXCELLENT SERVICE IN SA FOR A CHANGE

Just to let anyone know that is looking for radios, the man to deal with is Phil Jacobs of Cape Avionics.

My new Vertex bought on the 22nd May 2009 went faulty on transmit, with about a week to go before the warantee expires I phoned Phil to let him know I had a problem with the radio.

To my surprise he wanted my address to send me a new radio or give me a full refund. Where else in SA do you find this sort of service, no arguments, no I'll send it for repair bullsh!t. I will definitely support Phil in the future with any of my requirements as it is a pleasure to deal with an absolute gentleman for a change.
